The team at Sandwich Baron Highveld, in Centurion, welcomed new owners Maryna and Jurie Human to the store on 1 February 2013. Apart from being passionate about serving delicious meals, this husband and wife team position integrity as a core principle of their new business. With this view, they aim to provide their customers with only the best service while also providing their staff with an environment from which to excel.
After thirty years in the financial sector, the Human’s are ready to build on this opportunity and grow the Sandwich Baron brand even more by starting with the individuals inside the business.
Maryna sees their staff as assets. “It is an added advantage to work with employees who have gained experience at the store and built loyalty with the customers in the area. The staff have been devoted to the store and its customers and we will be dedicated to them as our success is dependent on their success,” she shares.
Sandwich Baron’s Managing Director, Sally J’Arlette-Joy says that she is confident that the new owners will build on the progress of the store and its employees.
“Maryna and Jurie Human are professionals who will work hard to ensure that the needs of consumers and staff are always held in high regard. Their open-door policy and work ethic provides a recipe which translates into a store environment characterised by professionalism, outstanding service and meal offerings of the highest quality.”
Produced specifically for online, call in and over the counter orders, Sandwich Baron creates a variety of high quality food products ranging from sandwiches, pitas, wraps, tramezzini’s, platters, topping-filled baked potatoes and salads, all catering to the breakfast and lunchtime trade.
“The Highveld Sandwich Baron team will be giving our best to ensure that not only are we the preferred sandwich delivery service outlet in the Highveld area, but also the top franchise within the group by 2014,” concludes Maryna.
